Very sad news.
Our Secretary, Mike Hayles, Passed away on Sunday 20th April. the funeral will be held at St. Johns Church, Ryde on Thursday 1st May at 12:30 p.m.
Mike has been the lynch pin of the band for over 35 years and will be greatly missed. He undertook many other voluntary jobs not only with the IOWYCB but with Ryde Rowing club, Ryde Youth club, Ryde Model Sailing club and as Governor of Ryde High School.
How he found time for it all begs question.
